What does
Rheumatology do?
At our rheumatology clinic, we deal with musculoskeletal diseases. We examine diseases of the spine, discs, bones, joints and the surrounding ligaments, tendons, muscles, osteoporosis, and soft tissue conditions.
Rheumatic diseases cause pain, stiffness, swelling, weakness, and dysfunction in the spine and other bones, joints, muscles, and tendons due to inflammation or wear and tear. Unlike orthopedics, a rheumatologist treats patients non-surgically through conservative treatments: using medications and physiotherapy methods.
