Prof. Dr. Kiss Róbert Gábor has become one of the defining figures of Hungarian cardiology during his career spanning more than four decades. He graduated from Semmelweis University in 1981. After gaining international experience, he became head of the Cardiology Department at MH EK Military Hospital in 2006. He is credited with establishing the first catheter therapy department in Hungary and the successful treatment of several thousand heart attack patients. As former president of the Hungarian Society of Cardiologists and honorary university professor at Semmelweis University, he plays a significant role in medical education and cardiovascular research.
